Repertoire Requirements
Levels 1-6
(Grades 1-12)
Two contrasting pieces, one piece from a composer from classical period or before, one from Romantic period or after.

***No simplified arrangements or transcription pieces allowed for Grades 6 and up.
Level 7
(College Division)
College Division must prepare:
-
A complete* Classical sonata (by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, or Schubert)
-
A virtuosic etude
-
A work from the Impressionist period-current period
-
A complete* major Romantic work from the 19th century
-
A prelude and fugue or any other work containing a fugue by J. S. Bach
*Complete works means:
-
All Sonatas, Variations, Suites, and other works with multiple movements must be prepared in their entirety
-
Sets of pieces that were written to be performed together must be prepared in their entirety
